The Kootenay Central is finished! The first through passenger train over the new road of the C.P.R. arrived in Golden on Saturday. The train consisted of two private cars and a caboose, and left Colvalli at 7 o'clock in the morning, and was in charge of Conductor Shackleton, with Engineer Atchison at the throttle. Occupying the private cars were several prominent officials of the company, including D. C. Coleman, general superintendent; A.C.
