1.3 View of St Eugene Mission (circa 1900) from the south hill to the north, with St. Eugene Church (built 1897) and the Hospital (built 1898) in the distance, all surrounded by temporary and permanent living facilities. The church still stands, but the hospital operations were relocated to Cranbrook in 1900 and named St. Eugene Hospital. It survived until 1967 when the new Cranbrook hospital was built.
