16.1 Baker Street looking west - circa 1905. This photo is taken from the intersection with 10th Ave.S., with the Moffat Building turret to the far right on the north side of Baker, and the Cross Keys Hotel about mid way down the block and the first fire hall at the far end close to the railway tracks, which is still open to the railway without the CPR-YMCA building (1909). At the far end of the south side of Baker, the Cranbrook Hotel does not yet have its large 1907 addition at 8th Ave.and the edge of a wagon can be seen at far left.
