  25.2 The station collapse while adding another floor 1905 (see also 9.7). The roof and dormers were lifted in 1905 to permit the insertion of a new second floor to make the building 3 storeys. This was needed for greatly increasing traffic expected with the completion of the connection to Spokane later that year to the south of Cranbrook at Yahk. The entire upper works were removed and 2 new floor constructed above the original main floor. CBK.1976.033.027
