30) The "Elko CP Station"   1901 Museum Station Use
  • In 1987 moved 43 miles from Elko, BC to the Cranbrook Railway Museum.
  • Restored to 1900 appearance & opened to the public in 1988.
31) The "CPR Water Tower" CP 1946 (Original) (used for display only).
  • This intact 40,000 gallon Water Tower was moved in 1994 to the present Museum site as the first structure in the plan of the "Canadian Museum of Rail Travel" linking present and new sites in the Museum zone with the downtown area.
32) The CPR Freight Shed   1898-1911 (Original)
  • This intact 4500 Sq.Ft. Freight Shed had some exterior and interior restoration work done in the summer of 1995. It will be restored and renovated and become the north wing of the new building for the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel
33) The Café from the Royal Alexandra Hotel (CPR - Winnipeg) 2,800 sq. ft.) CPR 1906 Original Oak Panel Room - Hundreds of pieces saved and stored - reconstructed and restored at this Museum 1999-2001.
  • Contents saved when hotel demolished in 1971 (stored in a semi-trailer 1971-1996)

34) The carved oak fireplace from the formal Dining Room of the Royal Alexandra Hotel (CPR - Winnipeg) CPR 1906 2 storeys high; solid carved oak with decorative over-panel
